Onboarding Best Practice Guidelines

The Onboarding Best Practice Guidelines will provide an overview of the most relevant guidelines concerning Operation & Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement & Construction, Asset Management, and Lifecycle Quality. The guidelines are based on specific tasks, organised by certification and lifecycle phase. The objective is to review the Guidelines in order to find priority sections for skills, based on a specific skill matrix (Annex 1). This process resulted in a unique document whereby the best practice guidelines are targeted for specific skills in the onboarding process of new people in the solar PV sector.

The structure of these Guidelines is the following:

• the chapters represent the category of the certification required for a specific solar job;

• the subchapters indicate the lifecycle phase related to the skills/tasks;

• the paragraphs describe the task categories, which are in turn subdivided into the most relevant tasks required in the solar sector.
